Promising Student Teachers
Education Students:
You can apply to become a Rodel Promising Student Teacher, and have the opportunity to student teach with a Rodel Exemplary Teacher!
The Rodel Foundation of Arizona is recognizing teachers who beat the odds with outstanding student achievement in high-needs schools. Rodel Exemplary Teachers are honored in the community and become mentors to the most promising student teachers.
Each semester, Arizona colleges of education partner with the Rodel Foundation to name Rodel Promising Student Teachers. Successful candidates are assigned to student teach with a Rodel Exemplary Teacher – and learn from the best. They can qualify for a $1,000 college scholarship while student teaching, and a $10,000 U.S. Savings Bond from Rodel after teaching for three years in a high-needs school.
